In January 2022, the ARS Musica Estonica concert agency organizes the Johann Sebastian Bach Christmas Festival for the eleventh time. Festival concerts are full of bright contrasts and rare instruments such as viola da gamba, baroque violin, vibraphone and many others.

Within the framework of the festival, listeners will have the opportunity to attend 7 concerts that will take place on different stages, namely in the Church of St. John, in the St.Mary’s Cathedral , and also in the House of the Blackheads.

In addition to the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, the festival will feature musical works by French, German, Estonian and other great composers.

The festival will open with a New Year’s concert with the participation of the orchestra and choir. Solo roles will be performed by the talented violinist and associate professor of the Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Julia Igonina, as well as soprano and participant on the Eurovision 2018 Elina Nechayeva, composer and organist Aare-Paul Lattik, and many others local and foreign musicians.
