Festival 2023: The festival program this time have 7 concerts in Tallinn and 2 concerts in Tartu. Our main theme for this edition is "CONTRASTS".

Next edition of Accordionfest is happening in the end of October. Our main theme for this edition is "CONTRASTS". Opening concert at 20th of October worships the accordion. The accordion students of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater present several musical contrasts to the audience in the form of various performance ensembles, both as soloists and as a quintet. The accordion virtuosos from foreign countries create a geographical contrast to the concert. Performers will be from Italy, Belgium and Lithuania. This year we have our first contemporary jazz concert happening at 21st of October where young Italian bassist Ferdinando Romano put together a concept including drums, piano, bass and accordion. Then on 24th of October we have a French baroque music concert performed by one of the most known accordionists from France Vincent Lhermet, on 26th of October there is a concert of Estonian accordionist Henri Zibo who plays 4 premieres specifically ordered for this concert and also music from renaissance period. On 27th of October we have a concert of masterclass participants and on 28th closing concert. Chinese composer Tze Yeung Ho has written a concerto for accordion, percussion and string orchestra. Accordionist is Momir Novakovic, on percussions Jennifer Torrence, string orchestra and conductor Kaspar Mänd.
