Over five days, the festival will feature concerts, performances, inspiring talks, open classes and other creative projects, bringing together musicians of different generations, faculty members, students and guest artists.

The festival programme offers a diverse overview of EAMT's creative activities. Audiences will hear symphonic and wind music, choral and chamber music, as well as works by Estonian composers, alongside classical repertoire and contemporary music. The festival will showcase the EAMT Symphony Orchestra and Wind Orchestra, choirs, student ensembles and soloists, while also providing a platform for the work of young composers. Alongside the music programme, audiences will have the opportunity to experience work by EAMT’s Department of Performing Arts, offering a perspective on the academy’s activities through the lens of theatre and performance.

Above all, MÜRIAADfest is a platform for EAMT students, where academic studies continue through creative practice, collaboration and performance experience. The festival gives young performers, composers and performing artists the opportunity to appear before an audience in a professional environment and to collaborate with fellow students, faculty members and guest artists.

At the same time, MÜRIAADfest offers audiences an opportunity to discover EAMT’s creative world and experience what is being created at an institution of higher education that is helping shape the future of music and theatre culture in Estonia. Five days of the festival invite audiences to listen, watch and engage, while experiencing the diversity of life at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.
