Credo - Festival of Orthodox Sacral Music

Credo - Festival of Organised since 1994, the Credo Festival of Orthodox Sacral Music is held annually around the Orthodox celebrations of the Nativity of the Mother of God (September 21). The focus of the festival is to preserve, research and introduce the heritage of Orthodox musical culture. During the past years of the festival, its audiences have witnessed the performances of the finest examples of Orthodox music from early Christian chants to modern compositions. In its effort to attract the young to the timeless values of sacral music, the festival also introduces youth choirs alongside with choirs from Estonia, Russian Federation, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Sweden and Georgia. Organised since 1994, the Credo Festival of Orthodox Sacral Music is held annually around the Orthodox celebrations of the Nativity of the Mother of God (September 21).
