The partners of organ will be lots of different instruments: carillion, accordion, guitar, saxophone, cello, bagpipe, clarinet, violin, harpsichord, harmonica, singing etc
In addition to traditional organ music styles (baroque, romanticism) we shall hear works of contemporary music. Also we can hear lots of estonian music from different ages, starting with folk music up to the compositions of young estonian composers.
Viljandi Organ Festival takes place in the churches of Viljandi deanery as the cooperation of the deanery and NPO Musica Sacra. The patron of the festival is the dean of Viljandi Marko Tiitus, the artistic director is Tuuliki Jürjo. For the first time the festival took place in 2020 in 12 churches of Viljandi deanery.
